What we collect
Account information includes your email address, chosen username, display name, password credentials managed by our authentication provider, and any profile details you choose to add. Review information includes ratings, written experiences, usage context, updates, and photos you submit. During open beta, feedback includes your message, the page you were viewing, and an optional contact email if you choose to provide one.
For safety, BubCheck may process device, connection, IP region, CAPTCHA, and rate-limit signals. Phone verification stores a one-way phone hash, the last four digits, and country - not your full phone number on your public profile.
Photos and ownership evidence
Public review photos remain connected to your profile and recorded permission. If you agree, BubCheck may feature one as a catalog photo with credit. Private ownership evidence is never posted publicly and is deleted after a decision or expiration under BubCheck's retention process.
How information is used
- Create and secure your account.
- Publish your chosen profile and approved reviews.
- Verify email, phone, and product ownership signals.
- Detect spam, abuse, duplicate accounts, and manipulation.
- Operate moderation, reporting, beta feedback, and support.
BubCheck does not sell personal information or sell higher rankings. Service providers may process limited data to provide authentication, email, SMS, bot protection, hosting, database, and image storage services.
Limited site analytics
BubCheck uses a random browser token to understand site health and improve the path from visiting to submitting a review. The token is one-way hashed before storage. For up to 90 days, BubCheck may keep broad referral and device groups, privacy-safe campaign labels from links BubCheck shares, coarse public page groups, filtered search terms that returned no results, and the furthest review-form stage reached that day. Full referring URLs are not saved.
Owner reports show only combined 7-, 30-, or 90-day trends. Review-funnel analytics do not include account or profile identifiers, product identifiers, review text, ratings, photos, draft answers, or ownership evidence.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, remove eligible photos, update reviews, or request account deletion from account settings. Some limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or resolving disputes.
Security and changes
BubCheck uses access controls and limited-data verification designs, but no online service can promise absolute security. Material policy changes will be dated here; where appropriate, members will be asked to accept an updated version.
